Hortus floridus Iesse

Short video of the painting process, originally made for the 2020 Utrecht University Well-being Week.

 

The Hortus floridus Iesse is a collection of flower watercolors inspired by seventeenth-century European flower books. It started as a long-term project as stress relief from my PhD research on the same subject.
